Come learn about the semi-wireless approach to “micing” (miking?) live a cappella concerts, and why it's so versatile, cost efficient, and approachable for performers and engineers alike. If your group wants to start using amplification at your shows, if you want to improve your knowledge and preparedness for soundchecks, or if you’re interested in becoming an engineer for your group or for others, this class is for you! We will discuss the fundamentals of using live sound equipment, breakdown the costs and options, open the floor to your questions, and even try out the gear with your whole group if you like!
