Cristina Valente

Almost two decades of work experience in international discography for Grammy winners, SONY Classical, Universal, Warner, radio, TV, cartoons, and talent shows. Cristina is a versatile session backup singer, lead vocal, vocal/choral coach, classically trained pianist, and composer at the conservatory, pop/jazz el. bass player, arranger, orchestrator, producer, vocal engineer (pre/post-production from rec to mix), music director, mix & mastering director, and studio consultant engineer.

Awarded for her "Excellence in Vocal Writing" at Berklee College of Music, Cristina won several International Competitions as a composer and has 170K CDs released in her early 20s distributed by the multinational companies Pierre Fabre Pharma and AvΓ©ne. She was also one of the ten revisers of Vivaldi’s original manuscripts for the National Library of Music in Italy. After rejecting a secretary position at Warner, she auditioned/selected, directed, arranged, performed, and orchestrated in the Disney style #52 songs for a cartoon movie released by Rai Fiction EU. Valente sang with the World Chamber Choir and the Youth Italian Choir, just to mention a few, and arranged for X-Factor, The Voice, and many vocal groups around the world.

Currently based in New York, Cristina works as an assistant tutor at Berklee College of Music (New York campus), attends the BerkleeNYC S&P master's program with an extra specialization in Orchestration for Musical Theater, and works on her vocal/harmony/frequency theory for a soon release.
